ZACH OSBORNE
seasoned, a term used to describe a competitor who has spent many years perfecting
their craft. to some, it can be shed in negative light, assuming that the individual’s abili-
ties are declining; yet, in Zach osborne’s situation, his maturity and age seem to shine.
With roots stemming from Abingdon, Virginia, Zach has become accustomed to the West Coast 250 series, compet- ing in the division since 2012. The tackiness of the East Coast clay is long forgotten about on most of the Western venues, providing trouble for many riders who tend to leave their home territory. Osborne is an exception, however, with a background of GNCC racing and participating in the ISDE (International Six Days Enduro). The terrain he is encountered in those events has allowed for an easy transition to the hard-packed California soil.
Rockstar Husqvarna seems to be pleased with his effort, retaining him for multiple years. Bobby Hewitt has put his faith into Zach’s program, and it’s being reflected with title contentions. Although he’s no stranger to the podium, Os-
borne hopes to reach new heights in the remaining rounds and conquer the middle platform very soon.
