LANCE KOBUSCH
You have to be impressed with the #99 Kawasaki rider of Lance Kobusch as he won 3 out of 4 motos at Mammoth. Heat number one of the Supermini 1 (12-15) class may have been stacked but Lance patiently watched on the sidelines, preparing himself for heat two. The 30 second board went sideways and Lance was quick to get to the front of the field and lead the class around the Mammoth Motocross track. Not only was the Kawasaki rider leading but he put on a statement as he set the fastest lap of the race on lap 3 and finished the race by just over 5 seconds. The heat races have all finished up and the main event was getting underway, Lance rounded out the first lap in 3rd behind early front runners Joshua Varize, and Kai Aiello.
