Racing was relevant right off the bat as Max and his family started to race locally when he was 4 and when he was about 6 years old they decided to try the Dodge National and its been competitive since. You may recognize the #604’s number from his 2nd place finish at Monster Cup, or his very impressive 7 out of 8 moto wins at Freestone earlier in his career. At Mammoth Motocross Miller was able to win his heat in Mini Sr 1 (12-13 Yrs), and placed second behind Dylan Schwartz in the main event. In Mini Sr 2 (9-14 Yrs), the KTM rider won his heat race once again and finished 3rd in the main, behind heavy hitters Carson Mumford and Preston Kilroy. The #604 of Miller once again won his heat race from start to finish in Supermini 1 (12-15Yrs) by over 3.5 seconds. The main event didn’t go as planned for the speedy youngster as he was inside the
top 5 early but went down on lap two, dropping him back 30 seconds from the field. Miller was 37th after the second lap, he pulled himself to 21st by the checkers, amazing effort for the #604. Max put on a valiant effort in the Supermini 2 (13-16) class as he was in the hunt for the title all week long. The Springfield native had 3-2 moto scores for 2nd overall, just behind Carson Mumford who went 4-1.
