Even with the time off the bike, I wouldn’t call those injuries a setback for @geezyy__, at least not based on the style and speed he brought with him to the Midwest Youth/Amateur Regional Championship. Now that the injuries are behind him he is able to continue progressing in the right direction – this includes his
consistent work at the Grindstone Compound.
His first at bat for the weekend would be Moto 1 of the 250 B Limited Class. While this first Moto would be a swing and a miss for Young Geezy, he brought it for Moto 2 and would finish 2nd. After another riveting day of racing with a multitude of hard chargers, Gage would ultimately go on to finish the 250 A/B All Star Class in 4th overall and charged to a 3rd overall in 250 B. These finishing positions would land him on the short list of riders who earned their tickets to “The Ranch” and for Gage this would be his fourth year in a row accomplishing such a remarkable feat. For someone who thought Loretta’s was “100% out of the question” based on his string of injuries, it’s great to see him earn his ticket in. I’m sure this year will taste even sweeter!
