>> Bradley Taft is a young rider out of Missouri racing his first ever Monster Energy Supercross. The RockRiver Cycle Trader Yamaha rider began his day strong qualifying into the night show in a respectable ninth place position. With a little bit of the pressure lifted off his shoulders going into the night show he carried that momentum into his heat race passing the checkers with yet another amazing finish of fifth place. Making it into the main event is always the goal for rookie racers, now that he was there it was time to have some fun. The #74 of Taft charged out of the gate right in the middle of the group around fourteenth place behind Bowers and De- cotis. A few minutes into the race the rookie made a mistake and fell back to seventeenth out of nowhere. Making a quick recovery the RockRiver Cycle Trader Yamaha rider gathered his bearings and began his ascent back towards the front. He worked his way forward having a small battle with Blake Lilly towards the end of the race, but held down the pass and finished off the race in thirteenth place. A good start to the 2017 season for the young rookie rider Bradley Taft.
