Brayton’s day in Florida would start a little slower than his usual Saturdays. Brayton could only manage to qualify 14th on a very tough tight Daytona Supercross track. Going into the night show, he would have his work cut out for him. Justin would have to dig deep if he wanted to back up the top 5 from the weekend before. Justin would line up with a stacked
gate of riders in 450 Heat 1. as the gate dropped the 450s took off for the first time in Daytona.
Unfortunately, Brayton did not pull off a perfect start and was only able to salvage 6th to go the the Semi. Brayton got a great jump in the Semi qualifier, and was able to hold 2nd place all the way to the black and white flag. He would go on to the Main. The stage was set for the 450 Main, the last gate drop in Daytona. The gate dropped and the dirt flew. Justin got a decent start and rounded the first lap in 10th. He led a quiet race where he put in a solid performance. He would chalk down another top ten finish as he would finish 9th in Daytona.
