lining up just to the outside of the preferred inside gate pick, Hahn found himself pinched off at the first turn. tommy couldn’t mount a charge to battle for a qualifying position and ended up ninth, which sent him to the semi for the night. the semi found the Cycle trader yamaha rider with a better result with a seventh, but it wasn’t enough to earn a spot in the main. Sitting on the gate is always an uneasy feeling for any rider. Hahn put his head down
and earned a coveted spot in the main with a third place.
Seventeenth place was not the way the Cycle Trader Yamaha rider wanted to start the main event. Looking to rebound and finish this season out with strong results, Hahn had a lot of riders to pass. Not being able to find his rhythm Tommy dropped back, then eventually bad luck had him retiring from the race by lap eight. Hahn’s season doesn’t reflect the skill and talent that he has to showcase.
