250 ALL STAR A/B
The 250 All Star A/B class was one of the most closely contested races of the week- end and also the first champi- onship awarded at the inau- gural Motoplayground Race at Ponca City. Team Green’s Lance Kobusch and Orange Brigade KTM’s Pierce Brown exchanged moto victories throughout both races, but Kobusch managed to win the second moto tiebreaker, mak- ing him the first ever Motop- layground Race Champion. EBR Performance’s Ramyller Alves put in solidly consistent rides in order to earn two 3rd place finishes and snag the fi- nal spot on the overall podi- um. The Utah native of Pierce Brown pulled the holeshot ahead of the Missourian of Kobusch in the first moto and slowly began to inch away from the Kawasaki rider. He kept the gap at about 2 sec- onds up until the penultimate lap when he started to make small mistakes, bringing the two of them within a second of one another.
