Brown had the superior pace, setting the fastest lap time of the race on lap 4, but Kobusch was just a little bit more consistent which set the fans up for a grandstand finish. The two of them went over the triple side- by-side with just one lap to go, but Brown was able to pull out all the stops in order to take the victory by just under a second at the line. Ramyller Alves started in 4th position just behind Dustin Turner, but it wasn’t long until he worked his way into the remaining podium position. The Floridian showed consistent pace in order to hold onto 3rd for the remainder of the race and put himself in a good position for the overall podium.
