TREY CANARD
Trey Canard is tough as nails. Emotionally, spiritually, and of course physically, he has proven it time and time again. Trey Canard has been through more injury and heartache in his 25 years than
most people see in their entire lives. Last weekend’s crash had the world scared and Trey’s reaction was priceless. His exact words, “I was lucky how I landed” prove just how positive the guy is. Nobody cases a triple landing with their body and says they were lucky, unless of course you’re the humble redhead from Oklahoma. Trey was of course lucky in the sense that he avoided injury and was able to come away with an 8th place after such a horrific practice crash. People seem to forget that Canard has had about half the seat time as his competitors due to injury. Trey brushes the dust off his boots and somehow manages to always match the insanely fast pace everytime he returns from his agonizing injuries. This season, Canard has persevered through incredible crashes and has been able to finish 14 out of the 16 races thus far. He has not finished this many races in a Supercross season since 2013. Trey may not be winning races yet but staying healthy is just as good as win for him at this point. With every race completed, Canard is gaining stability and straying away from the worries of injury. He will continue to be a threat for a win and should be proving it soon. Trey Canard will be eager to finish up the season this weekend in Vegas and get ready for the outdoor season.
