Trey looked to finish the season strong as he was absolutely flying in practice early in Sam Boyd stadium. He logged a time quickly as the rain began to fall in Las Vegas. The track looked more like
a swamp as the night show began and would make for some very interesting racing. When 450 Heat began, Trey got off to a decent start and was running 5th by the time he had navigated most of the first
lap on the rutty track. As he was approaching the finish line a small slide on the slippery whoops spun Trey to the side and he hit the ground hard. He would go to the Semi. Trey got a top 5 start in this race and moved into 4th early on the first lap. Later on in the same lap, Canard dropped a wheel in the slimy whoops and temporarily hit the mud. He remounted and had only lost 1 position. He repassed Weston Peick and found himself again running in 4th position by the last lap. He qualified and was ready for the night to be over. When the Main began, Trey struggled on the start and was running 11th on the first lap. On lap 3, Trey crashed again in the whoops while trying to avoid another downed rider. He managed to get back up to 7th but on lap 13, fell again in the slimy section before the second triple. He would lose two positions because of the crash and was running 9th, but quickly reclaimed 8th. On the last lap he made a charge but would fall short. He would finish 8th in Las Vegas.
