Marvin’s day started off well in Las Vegas as he looked very smooth and fast. He logged a 7th fastest time in the shortened qualifying sessions and looked forward to getting muddy in the
races. When 450 heat 2 began, it seemed as tho Marvin Musquin was eager to get the night over injury free. He started around the 5th position and rode smooth and cautious. He would go on to the Semi. When this race began, Marvin got off to a great start and was able to jump into the stadium in the 3rd position. He moved into 2nd place early but every rider was just trying to keep it on two wheels at this point. With two laps to go, Marvin was struggling through the whoops and would lose a position. Nonetheless, he would take 3rd and go on to the Main. By the time the last gate drop was ready to take place, the track was in the worst condition of the night. Marvin was ready to turn his night around and he did just that when the gate dropped for the Main. He was running a solid 4th early and looked to be on his way for a good race. He lost one position on lap 3 but was able to get it back when Millsaps went down in the whoops. He seemed to be comfortable until lap 8 where he fell victim to the messy track. His night was over in Vegas.
