Haiden Deegan continued the dream weekend for Orange Brigade by bringing home two titles in the 65cc 7-9 class and the 65cc 7-9 Limited class. He went undefeated in all six motos, completing a clean sweep of the field and running a pace approximately two seconds a lap faster than his com- petitors. In the Limited class, he got out to a flying start in both the first and last moto, putting him-
self in a position to overtake for the lead within the first two laps of the race. In the first moto, he reeled in Jeremy Fappani and passed him on the opening lap to eventually win the race by a stunning gap of 30.7 seconds. The second moto proved to be a little bit more difficult as Haiden put himself in a bad position off the starting gate. He was in twenty-third position on the very first lap and utilized his blazing speed and racecraft to make up eighteen positions in just one lap. This put him within a sniff of the podium on just the second lap and he continued his recovery from an awful start in order to take yet another victory.
