HUNTER YODER
Hunter Yoder is another up and coming Orange Brigade rider that his been lighting
the amateur ranks on fire. In 2015, he finished on the podium in at least one class in practically every major amateur event that he entered. He ended the year exceptionally well by finishing second and third overall in the respective 65cc classes at Mammoth
as well as taking third in the 85cc 9 - 11 class. He continued that run of form at the biggest event of the year down on the Ranch where he took another second and third overall in the 65cc 10 - 11 and 65cc 7 - 11. Not only has Hunter showed podium speed whether it be atop his 65 or 85, seemingly being able to transfer his speed from one bike to the other with relative ease, he earned the KTM Hard Charger Award at Loretta Lynn’s despite the sweltering conditions. This is proof that he has the racecraft and aggression to match the Dungey-esque consistency he has shown throughout the 2015 season. It’s especially impressive considering that Loretta’s provides some of
the longest amateur motos of the season and the race is run in Tennessee at one of the hottest times of the year. In 2016, Hunter will be looking to take that next step to the top of the podium more often which he was able to do right off the bat at Oak Hill. He won both the 65cc 10 - 11 classes in dominant fashion by way of six moto victories. He is yet to finish off the box in the 65cc class in 2016, putting in solid results of second and third at the Freestone Spring Championship. Hunter will be looking to get back to winning ways coming into the California Classic and climb back up to the top step of the podium once again.
