From a sponsor’s perspective, you always want your product or athlete to appear in the
eyesight of your target market. Difrancesco held true to his end of the deal at the california
classic, as he competed in fifteen different motos, never placing outside of the top ten.
Feeling comfortable on the 65cc machine, he chose to compete in three various divisions, 65cc (10-11), 65cc (10-11) Limited, and 65cc Open (7-11). In both (10-11) divisions, the Kawasaki pilot found himself amidst constant position changes and battles, in each and every moto. Every moto he was vying for the top spot, setting the fastest times while working different lines in instances such as the second moto of the 65cc (10-11) class. Yoder, Jarvis, Leblanc, Wilcox, all highly touted names he had to go against, never doubting himself in the slightest.
