Jake Masterpool came into the california classic at Pala ready
to win some championships and he would do just that. He signed up for the both 250 B classes and 450 B classes and was ready to mix it up. He enjoyed a very consistent weekend in three of his four classes. The 250 B class was as wild as you’d expect
it to be and it saw Masterpool come away with 3-6-20
moto finishes. He came into that third and final moto looking to salvage
a top five or maybe even
top three overall but those hopes were instantly dashed when he went down early. He came around lap one way back in dead last and did his best to climb up to that twentieth place spot. Not what he was looking for but he was able to erase the bad mojo from those races and kill it in the rest of his classes.
