He finished no worse than second place in all three of his other classes. In 250 B Limited he cranked out 2-2-2 moto finishes for second overall. He was unable to take a moto win but in moto one he had a fantastic ride. He started way back in eighteenth on lap one and charged all the way up to second place by lap five! It was a gutsy performance that showed what Jake
is all about. The 450 classes were absolutely dominated by Mr. Masterpool. He won five of the six motos. He went 2-1-1 in 450 B and his only blemish was the result of an absolute duel between him and Jordon Bailey. The two both got bad starts and charged through the pack together. Masterpool got into the lead midway through with Bailey
all over him but could not hold on as Bailey snuck through on the final lap. Both riders put forth impressive performances
and it was a great one to watch. Masterpool retaliated in the next two motos by winning them wire to wire securing the championship. 450 B Limited went even better for the Texan because he went out and swept all three motos. He went wire to wire in moto one and then easily rode to the victories in the final two. Masterpool clearly meshes really well with the 450 and I have a feeling that those two titles on the big machine will not be his last.
