who would fall to third. A twelve second gap at the stripe, Co- chran would take the win, look- ing forward to the almighty main event. Division two saw Daxton Bennick rip off the line, his back wheel sinking to the proper amount of depth, and pulling the number 241 ferociously through start straight sands. Janik, now second, would
stalk the Morganton native, but couldn’t ever get close enough to make a pass. Noah Smer- don, would work his way into third, and that’s how the running list would finish up; Bennick, Janik, and Smerdon. It was
now time for Romano, saving the best for last. Pulling off the line with a subtle look over, fol- lowed by ducking to the inside, Romano began to gap Matti Jorgensen Jr. early, hitting each shifting point around the track with miraculous precision. His small-statured frame, packed
a big punch, pulling from both Jorgensen and Deegan each and every lap. The field had seen enough, and the check- ered flag was thrown, Romano taking the win, with Jorgensen, and Deegan at his bay. It was now time for the runoff, and Romano once again took the class to school, displaying his precise starting technique. It would lead to a clear track, and clear vision, with the ability to pick any rut he wanted. Getting creative with his lines, he would slowly gap Mark Fineis, and eventually Haiden Deegan who moved into second. Jorgensen, now working his way into the third, could only muster a small green blur many yards ahead. It was all Romano needed, taking the checkered flag, and securing yet another title for his home-based stockpile.
