FREDRIK NOREN
Fairly underrated and often overlooked, Fredrik Noren continues to battle near the front of the pack and has silenced the aspect of inconsistency to secure his ranking and continue his career in America. As a child, Noren competed at home in Sweden on a national scale by winning Jr. Championships in 2009 and a pro
championship as a rookie in 2010. Fast forward six years, now 24-years-old, Noren has seen some success in his overseas campaign. Taking the first few years to adjust slowly, Noren came in nearly full-force to finish the outdoor season of 2013 in 27th overall after missing the majority of the first half due to injury. Over the course of the last two years since then, the Swedish superstar has seen some extremely consistent results in the big bike class by finishing 10th place overall in both series’ and came into 2016 hoping for the same. So far, Fredrik hasn’t quite repeated his finishes from the years before but has already begun to make advancements
in returning to form. After his dismal round one that included a moto two pull off for a 17th overall, Noren bounced back to 12th last weekend at Glen Helen proving that he is still doing his homework during the winter. With the season officially underway and the field settling into their individual race rhythms, look for Noren to catch his usual top 10 tempo and score some more points before the tour continues heading East.
