COLE SEELY
Previously considered an “SX specialist”, it would actually be wrong to assume that Cole Seely isn’t aiming to silence his critics. Through the first two rounds, Cole has sustained an obviously well- prepared pace and has managed to have one top five moto at each race, finishing 7th at both of the
California circuits. Now, having officially traveled away from his homeland soil and into the elevation of the Rockies, Seely may be given the hardest test of 2016 to date. With ruts and line choices oozing at the sidelines, Thunder Valley for round three is quite different than the previous two tracks and may prove to uncover the Achilles of Seely’s early season mojo. Putting up the results he has though, Cole was clearly hard at work heading into the season and must have some vengeance flowing in the veins to show that there’s no such thing as a weak spot when you win in your mid-week program. Having finished 16th overall last year, Seely has to be pumped that he’s kept the Factory Honda inside the top ten for all four moto’s thus far and, surely, wants nothing more than to keep the streak alive. As a result of the streak, Cole currently sits in 7th place overall and while 1st and 2nd place in the 450 class appear to be spoken for, Seely has plenty of room to continue his successful reign as the season hits Colorado.
