He made some aggressive passes and was battling hard with the other riders in the opening laps. Tonus was able to make his way up to 7th and seemed to settle in there. With about 15 minutes on the clock, Nelson began to close in on Arnaud and eventually would make the pass. Fortunately for Arnaud, Nelson went down and handed him the position right back. After that, more pressure was being applied to Arnaud from another rider. Eventually, with only 2 minutes left on the clock, Osborne would sneak past Arnaud but they were both able to pass Cooper Webb. Arnaud was now sitting in 8th place but Cooper Webb wasn’t done and was able to get back by him with only one lap to go. Arnaud would go 18-9 for 13th overall in Colorado.
