After a dominating performance last year winning the first five moto’s of the season, Eli Tomac had high expectations coming into the 2016 Lucas OilPro Motocross series. Kicking off the season with a pair of podiums is an exceptional performance for any rider, but when you want to win as bad as Eli Tomac a third place finish is just not cutting it. Not only was Tomac not satisfied with a third place finish, but he was actually quite disappointed with his
performance. You can feel the emotion and disappointment in his podium interviews after each race. This further proves just how fierce of a competitor Eli Tomac really is. He expects to win and does not accept anything less. Although he has not yet found the top step of the podium this season, he has still been consistent and is very much alive in this championship fight. As we come into his home state of Colorado this weekend, Tomac looks to use the high elevation and home town crowd to his advantage and bring home his first win of the 2016 outdoor season.
