Many newcomers to the sport filled the seats of the Las Vegas stadium, reading the itinerary and placing pre-conceived judgments on each particular class as they read through the title. “Amateur All-Stars” can be a tad confusing to the naked ear, especially when at an event with the prestige of the Monster Cup. There’s nothing amateur about these competitors, and riders like Challen Tennant make it well known that they are the next in line to professional stardom. Tennant, a proud Texan, knew that he may have to put on the spurs and rope in order to lasso the competition into submission; he abided by his states common law, wrangling each competitors’ will, and taking a well respected finish by nights’ end.
