GARRETT MARCHBANKS
Garrett Marchbanks bounced back from the most unsuccessful Loretta Lynn’s week of his budding career by going on a tear of victories ranging from the Baja Brawl to the Florida Gold Cup. Marchbanks was especially impressive at the Baja Brawl where he set the fastest lap time in every single session and won every moto that he raced except for one. The Gold Cup was no different as he took the overall in every
single one of his classes, dominating the B class as well as the Schoolboy class. The Monster Energy Team Green rider has spent some time out in California at the Kawasaki test track prior to the MEC attempting to get acclimated to the slick, west coast dirt and the unique obstacles that a supercross track presents. Marchbanks hails from Utah, so he has experience riding the popcorn dry conditions that the west coast tracks offer, but he has spent a lot of time training on the east coast in recent years. He
is one of the most decorated B riders that is lining up on the gate with a real shot to take home the first place trophy, but he will have to battle against loads of competitors that are preparing to make their professional supercross debut in 2017. The Utah native will be looking to use his technical precision to put his Monster Energy Kawasaki up on the podium at his title sponsor’s namesake event.
