One of the few riders riding in a total of four classes, Stilez Robertson may have very well
been the man of the week in Freestone. Starting with Mini Sr. 1, Robertson was unstoppable.
Posting the fastest time in Heat one en route to the victory, Stilez didn’t slow down until the checkers were waived on the main event. Yep, the Kawasaki rider also posted the fastest time in moto two, leading every lap of both races on his way to his first championship of the week. Oh, but there’s more.
Adding 14-year-old competitors to the mix, things got a little more challenging for Robertson as some of the older kids got involved in the Mini Sr. 2 class. Finishing 6th in heat one, he went straight to moto two with a vengeance. Starting in 5th,
the rider battled his way to 3rd by the middle point to place 5th overall. Without much time to simmer on the tougher class, Robertson was back at it quickly in the Super Mini 1 class to counteract the older riders. Being a 12-15 year old division, Robertson got back to the Mini Sr. 1 vibes on his way to his second title and last in Texas. Unable to set the fastest time in either moto, Robertson still led every lap of heat one and moto two to boost his intimidation factor heading into his oldest class of the week, Super Mini 2 featuring Jalek Swoll. Unable to post a victory, Stilez earned a second in his heat heading straight to moto two to finish with a 4th overall. Two titles, a 4th and a 5th, the young teenage rider had a good ole’ fashioned week
to remember in Texas, thanks to James Stewart and the Freestone track crew. I’m assuming that someone must have shown him the fast lines. No matter the case, I’ll be impatiently waiting to watch Stilez ride a big bike. Until then, #325 remains a chief
commander in the Team Green assault on 2016.
