PARKER MASHBURN
Parker Mashburn in 2016 is looking to become a top contender in the B and Schoolboy classes. The young rider from Texas has always been battling in and around the top five in the 85 and supermini
classes over the last half a decade. Since 2011, Mashburn has only finished worse than 6th overall at Loretta Lynn’s one time and that was due to a DNF. He seems to have mastered one of the hardest things about the sport of motocross that is staying con- sistent. Consistency is a major key in any sport and is a huge part in winning championships. Now that Mashburn has made the jump
to big bikes full time, he will need to maintain that consistency more than ever. The B and schoolboy classes are full of budding talents and boys and girls in their wild teenage years and can have some serious ups and downs. Mashburn is entering those teenage years but seems to already have a mature, cool calm and collected demeanor to him that can help him wonders. And that demeanor already seems to have helped Mashburn on the big bikes this year as he grabbed three titles a few weeks ago at Oak Hill. As the season pro- gresses, make sure to keep your eye out on this consistent up and coming KTM rider.
