into the field along with about a dozen others and the crowd gets sent into a frenzy.
Scrambling to a twentieth on the opening grid, Hampshire had nowhere to go but up. He began to juke the competition, left, right, scrub, and flick, finding himself in 15th on lap seven. One by one, the Florida native somehow sat eleventh with six to go.
As the camera began to scan the field, the Fox Sports crew suddenly jumped to the pit area, where the wrenches were spinning on none other than the 31 machine: a flat rear tire, presumably from the rocky soil of the Rogers Centre. Hampshire would unfortunately finish in the final position of 22nd.
