There’s still some fight left in this dog, as Tommy showcased he’s willing to throw bow’s in the opening moments of heat one. Passing the flagger’s stand in eighth, he looked to trail and take note of the lines in front of him. He dug, occupying seventh with three to go, and
finishing there, headed to the semi.
450 Semi Two: The 30 second board goes sideways, gate falls, and...... it’s time to hit the pause button, let’s try a red flag and restart (gate malfunction). Man oh man, was T.Hahn buried this time around; but that flame that was mentioned earlier seemed to really spread under his tail. His spark shot him all the way sixth by lap three and he began to make moves.
Running Catanzaro wide before the triple, he’d escalated to fifth with two to go. Next up Nick Wey, “Seeya”; he was fourth on the final lap, hitting the jumps with flare. Satisfied with result, to the main he went.
After what appeared to be trouble for the number 47 heading into the first turn, the Cycle Trader Rock River rider didn’t get far. The cameras eventually made there way to the mechanics area on lap three, where both Hahn and Bogle were off the bikes discussing matters with mechanics and television crew. Unfortunately Hahn’s night would end here, as timing and scoring listed him as out by lap five of the event.
