It was an interesting for the 250 East Coast rider Benny Bloss getting his best career finish. The fill in rider for CycleTrader Yamaha started his night out strong jumping right into 2nd off the start of his heat race. Josh Hill kept it close and eventually made the pass after quading out of the big wall, placing Bloss back to 3rd. He rides the rest of the race out in this position where he finishes and moves onto the main event. The start of the 250 main event was no joke after one rider goes down causing a huge pile up through the first turn that Bloss had managed to stay out of placing him up in 6th behind a whole new group of front runners. The next lap he passed Frye moving into the top 5. Shortly after, he passes Bisceglia and McElrath gets a flat moving Bloss into 3rd place for a split second because Bisceglia makes the move and passes him right back putting him in 4th.
