Heading across the border into Canada for Round 10 of the 2016 Supercross sea- son, Chad Reed was ready to get his mojo back. Clocking faster lap times than we usually see in practice from Chad, it looked as though he was ready to get back on
the podium. After failing to make it directly out of a stacked heat race, Chad was sent to the semi for some extra track time. Grabbing a great start and holding the lead all the way to the finish, Chad was ready to get the main event under way. As we have seen many times in the past, Chad always seems to step it up in the main event when it truly matters, despite of how his day was going prior. Unfortunately this would not be the case to- night as his night took a turn for the worst immediately after the gate dropped. Coming together with another rider left Reed hitting the ground hard on the start straight away. After being assisted by the Asterisk Medical crew he eventually got up, but would not re-enter the race.
