Round 10 of the Monster Energy Supercross series will be remembered as “the night of the unexpected”. The 250 class had a strange turn of events before the race even started, as points leader Martin Davalos was unable to compete in the
event. This left the door open for a handful of riders to secure the red plate on their machine. The start straight tonight was shorter than usual, and when the gate dropped in the main event nobody wanted to let off. This caused a massive first turn crash collecting almost half of the field, including Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki’s Jimmy Albertson. After getting his bike untangled and making sure his handlebars were straight, Jimmy raced back to a 17th place finish.
