Alex Frye had a mediocre start to his day in Canada. After qualifying 16th in practice, he was ready to just put in a consistent Saturday and build off his 22nd finish last weekend. In 250 Heat 1, Frye nearly got the holeshot but was pushed outside coming into the first section. He came
around the first lap in 6th and soon after passed into the 5th position. He rode a steady race, kept good pace, and ended up qualifying for the Main Event with a 5th. Alex came out swinging when the gate dropped for the Main Event and was scored with the holeshot. After a crazy, carnage filled first lap, Frye was sitting in 4th with both of his teammates in front of him. Frye would lose one more position early on, but was able to hold down 5th place for most of the Main Event. Alex was able to dig deep with around 4 laps to go, and made a pass into 4th, where he would finish off the night. Alexander Frye finished a very impressive career best 4th in Toronto and will be going into next week with a major confidence boost.
