What a return to Monster Energy AMA Supercross Josh Grant made last weekend in Daytona. The twenty-nine year old veteran has a lot of friends in the state of Florida and had actually
made plans for a fishing trip in the area around the time of the Daytona SX. That is when one of his friends told Grant that he would not let him on the boat if he didn’t go out and race. Grant complied and hopped off the couch to try and get ready for the race. In just two weeks time, Grant with the help of Pala Raceway and his clothing line HTLN CO found his way to the starting line at the toughest supercross of the year. Grant surprised everyone by qualifying straight out of the heat race after a fantastic start. He would surprise everyone yet again in the main event by getting out to a great start and riding strong to a 7th place finish. His fantastic effort off the couch earned him a fill-in ride with Monster Energy Kawasaki until Wil Hahn is ready to return. Watch for the #33 factory Kawasaki to make some noise once he is ready with his new team.
