>> Chesterfield, South Carolina’s Cade Clason started the day off just out- side of the top 20 by qualifying 23rd in the timed sessions early this morning in Arlington. Clason started his heat race off mid pack among a bunch of riders who were circulating around the same lap times as each other and would only move one position from his 11th place start by finishing 10th in his heat. Cade was forced to the semi. The semi started well for the Honda rider as he started inside the top 5 but just couldn’t hold the transfer spot and fell all the way back to 9th sending him to the LCQ. Clason really rode the fine line of qualifying by finishing in the nights final transfer position in the LCQ but nonetheless he qualified for the main on what was becoming a slick and rough track. A bad jump had Clason buried on the first lap as he came across in 20th to begin his second lap. Clason would not finish the race. It is un- known if he sustained any injuries or if it was a technical issue with his bike but he was listed as out of the race at the 14 min mark of the main event. Not the way he imagined his night ending.
