>> Justin Starling has been having his best Supercross seasons in
his career as of yet. After switching to a new team last weekend, he was able to obtain not only his best finish of the season but the JMC Motorsports/K1 Speed/Husqvarna teams best finish. Working hard each weekend Starling started his night in Arlington strong qualifying fourteenth into the night show events. Starting out his first race of the night Starling got a killer start right into the top five in his heat race.
He battled with Aaron Plessinger for a minute fighting over that fourth place spot, but wasn’t able to hold on and fell back to fifth. He then lost one more spot before the race was over sending him back to sixth. Even though he wasn’t able to hold onto his fourth he still finished well within a qualifying position. Onto the big show the JMC Motorsports/ K1 Speed/ Husqvarna rider was hoping to get his team another best finish. Not getting the best jump out of the gate Starling was around sixteenth through the first turn. Fighting the slick conditions of that Texas red clay he battled back and forth between sixteenth and sev- enteenth throughout the entirety of the main event. As the race neared its end he was able to snag a pass and move into fifteenth where he crossed the finish line. It wasn’t his best finish of the season, but not his worst. Heading into the break, Starling has some time to fine tune things before heading into the final rounds of the season.
