>> After getting injured at the season opener Chris Alldredge, made his comeback to the Supercross season just last weekend. After being out for basically the first four rounds of the season Alldredge had a hard time and wasn’t quite able to make it into the main event. Looking to improve his results and make his team happy Chris put the work in during the week heading into Texas. The night didn’t start out so well for the BPR MX / Home Depot/ Yamaha rider getting a poor start in his heat race. Sit- ting back in seventeenth at the beginning of a heat race is not a position any rider wants to be in. Alldredge was working hard to make the neces- sary moves to get him into the main event. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get where he needed to be before the race was over finishing back in sixteenth. Facing his last chance to make the main event Alldredge’s fire was lit and he was ready to throw down. The second the gate dropped
he hit the gas sending him into the first turn right behind Lafountaine. He was quick to make the pass into the lead where he finished off the race and moved onto the main event. Making his second main event of the year the BPR MX/ Home Depot/ Yamaha rider went down off the start off the main even leaving him back in twenty second after the first lap. Liter- ally with the entire field in front of him Alldredge had his work cut out for him. He was able to gain a few positions as the race carried on. The last few minutes of the race he was riding back in nineteenth. When Mcel- rath’s bike had its mechanical error he was able to gain another spot. The Yamaha rider was able to finish the main event off in eighteenth. It isn’t where the rider is used to being, but coming off an injury he will come back from the break stronger than ever and ready to go.
