JEREMY MARTIN
The fact that the two-time defending outdoor champion, Jeremy Martin, hasn’t quite had the season that
was expected has been said and discussed week-in and week-out. The truth of the matter is, the stacked society of the 250 class has raised the bar and Martin has been left to deal with the unlucky side of racing. The fact that Martin hasn’t won yet isn’t due to lack of speed, instead it seems to be a result of one bad moto or mediocre starts. If the #1 can earn himself a spot near the front in the first few turns, Martin is surely to be a contender by the end of the day and has been thus far. With that said, having finished top 5 in eleven of the fourteen moto’s to this point, winning three of them, it’s far too early to count out the younger Martin brother; even as he trails his blazing teammate Cooper Webb. As the crowd enters the grounds of Millville for round eight, Saturday is a special day for the Martin family. Not only is this round a hometown race, Milville is on Martin’s family property, meaning the stage is set for Jeremy to finally put in a 1st place ride in 2016.
