Marvin “The French Man” Musquin has quietly become very accustomed to his KTM 450 and his results thus
far in his rookie year on the big bike will prove that truth. Looking back, the #25 had a slow transition into the
outdoors, unable to finish in the top 5 in each of first three rounds. Once the circuit reached High Point, as if he had just snapped his fingers, Marvin found a missing link and has since gone 4 for 4 in the last four rounds leading into Millville, for round eight. Analyzing the possibilities for what could have happened so quickly in the Musquin camp, it’s pretty clear that the young gun from France is finally getting comfortable. With comfort comes confidence and already having a consistent career to build upon, Musquin has earned enough points over the past few rounds to sit 3rd in points, twenty points ahead of 4th. If Marvin can keep his gear clean, get a start and avoid a first turn pileup, the #25 should remain in the first five in Millville, possibly even strengthening his grasp on a podium spot.
