ARNAUD TONUS
Arnaud Tonus is beginning to make a name for himself here in the States after some breakout rides the past few
weeks. The rider hailing from Switzerland has sewn together four straight rounds of season best performances.
It appears that Tonus is finally 100% healthy and we are able to see his true potential. The first year and a half of his tenure in America was just riddled injury and disease and he was never really able to showcase his ability. We did get a hint of it at his only round of the series last year at Washougal where he got third place in his first ever moto. Just this past weekend at Southwick he matched that career best third in the first moto and was backing it up in the second. He was slated to nail third overall but he went down in the latter stages of the moto and finished eighth. He was still able to get sixth overall that was his season and career best. Tonus will be looking to keep this hot streak alive this weekend at Millville and avenge that late race fall.
