Devastating day for Weston Peick as he entered round 8 poised to continue results inside of the top 10. He starts the day off qualifying 13th with a 2:17.219 and a great start was what the JGR Yamaha rider needed to contend in the top of the field. Things where working out great for the #28 as he rounded out lap one in 9th and was running a good pace for the first 10 minutes of the race. While approaching a jump out of a left hand corner, Peick got cross rutted and went from one side of the jump to the other by the landing. Unfortunately he was dealing with fire from RCH’s Broc Tickle and the #20 had nowhere to go but land on top of the head of Weston. Tickle was able to get up on his own power but Peick was not so fortunate. Expect an update sometime this week on Westons health.
