WESTON PEICK
Years ago the name Weston Peick was nearly irrelevant in the sport of professional motocross, the impact that he has made since will have dirt bike fans and privateers telling his story. It wasn’t long ago that Weston was a privateer battling to get himself inside of the top 20, even in supercross he
was lucky to make the main event. With pure determination the true underdog/working man made his way through the ranks and was finally rewarded with a fill in ride with the RCH Suzuki team. Once on truly competitive equipment we started to see what the #23 could do on a race track. His contract was up with the RCH team and Weston was a free agent, luckily his results where more than enough to attract interest in other major teams. Joe Gibbs Racing decided to have Peick out to their test track and see how he enjoyed riding the Yamaha machine. Things went smooth and Weston locked down his first major contract, signifying himself among a select few who deserves to be on factory equipment in the 450 class. Antics like landing on the podium in Monster Energy Supercross main events, and actually throwing fists in the middle of a race after being taken out is what makes this once privateers story that much more appealing.
