CASEY COCHRAN
Casey Cochran has proven since his introduction to the world of ama- teur motocross that he is capable
of winning races at the highest
level, claiming three Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships from his time in the 51cc (4-6) class until last year in the 65cc (10-11) class. The youngster was recruited into the newly branded RM Army
as Suzuki made it’s resurgence into the amateur motocross ranks and he’s proudly represented them in the various 85cc divisions, currently do- ing so full-time. He’s also a member of the Team Dunlop Elite program for the third year running due to
his impressive collection of career results and his incessant desire to improve. As of late, he has reigned victorious in multiple classes at Na- tional Arenacross races around the country, he’s won races in Monster Energy Amateur Supercross, and he racked up titles at the Daytona RCSX. Cochran has proven time and time again that he is the real deal and it’s clear that this year will be no different when it’s time for the gate to drop.
KRYSTIAN JANIK
Following a solid end to the 2017 season at Mini Os, including an overall podium in the motocross portion, Krystian Janik was able to start 2018 with the same intensity. The Kawasaki rider proved his ability to race on a technical supercross style track, capturing a number one plate in the 85cc (9-12) class at round five of the AMA Arenacross series. His suc- cess continued at the Monster Energy Amateur Supercross at the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta as
he earned a second place in the 85cc (9-12) class. The Illinois native snagged two more overall podium finishes aboard his KX85 in the remainder of the races throughout the spring and looks to be a serious contender in that division for the remainder of the year. He’s proven his ability in a deep field time and time again throughout his career, earning top results at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch such as a fifth in 2014 and a third in 2015. Janik missed out on the competition in 2016 and was forced to pull out early in the week at the ranch in 2017, so he’ll undoubtedly be searching for redemption this August.
