RYDER DIFRANCESCO
Ryder DiFrancesco has been standing on the top step of podiums since he first learned how to stand. The Team Green Kawasaki rider has built a reputation throughout the amateur motocross community as one of the most promising talents in recent years. He has accumulated four Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Cham- pionships throughout his young career, including three second place overall finishes to boot. The Californian’s first title at the Ranch came way back in 2011 and he most recently added to the collection in 2017, showcasing the longevity of his speed through- out his amateur career. Although he has been wildly successful since the time he first began racing a motorcycle, one could argue that 2018 is going to be the best of his career. In the month of March alone, DiFrancesco racked up nine number one plates
at the various events that he contested. Throughout all of 2018 to this date, the Team Dunlop Elite rider has accrued a total of nineteen. He was utterly dominant in his home state at the 2018 FMF California Classic, sweeping all four of the divisions that
he entered. DiFrancesco raced a total of twelve motos and his worst finish was a second place; he had a whopping nine moto wins and a dominant four championships, trouncing the competi- tion with blinding speed and relentless skills out of the starting gate. History has proven time and time again that we should only expect more of the same throughout the rest of the season as DiFrancesco should be expected to stack up more titles.
CHANCE HYMAS
Chance Hymas has commenced the 2018 racing season in a very positive way, put- ting together a plethora of overall podium finishes throughout the beginning of the year. The majority of his success came in Kemp, Texas at Spring A Ding Ding where he won a total of three championships, but also landing on the podium at the Daytona RCSX and the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. Hymas recently competed in the 2018 FMF California Classic in his home state and continued the rhythm that he has shown so far this year, recording a couple more podiums and top five finishes. The Kawasaki
rider stepped up to the ultra-competitive Supermini division and earned an impres- sive fourth overall, but the highlights of his weekend came aboard his KX85. Hymas collected a total of four second place finishes in the various 85cc divisions
that he contested and his consistency across the weekend brought him a total of two second place overall finishes. The Californian’s continual podium presence throughout the season bodes well for the remainder of the year as he’s established himself as one of the boys to beat in the 85cc classes.
