NATE HUMMEL
“Nasty” Nate Hummel, has been on a tear thus far throughout his amateur career. Taking wins, podiums, and top fives at every event you can possibly think of, Hummel is ecstatic for the chance to prove his worth on the national stage. Generating multiple titles last year at the Mini O’s event,
in the 51cc (4-8) limited classes, he wanted to keep the ball roll- ing, as he moved on to the 65cc machine. And boy has it not stopped, as he podiumed at not only the Spring A Ding Ding event at Underground, but also the ultra-competitive, JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. No matter who’s on the line, and whether it’s a one on one, or one on forty competition, Nate Hummel plays for keeps. His pride is his dignity, and he holds himself to a very high standard. That’s why, even at such a young age, he’s a true role model for those around him.
JEREMY FAPPANI
Jeremy Fappani is no stranger to the heat, as he lives right, smack in the middle of Arizona. When both the levels of pressure, and tempera- ture gauges begin to rise, he too warms up, really coming into his ele- ment. That’s why, when he stopped at the 2018 FMF Cal Classic, this Pacific Coast breeze and palm tree’s, were a true place of relax- ation and comfort. This notion would translate into spectacular results, all throughout the course of the event. Numerous top ten finishes scattered over the data sheet, with hardly an outliers coming into the equation. If there were a 65cc (10-11), or 85cc (9-11) class on the track, you can bet that Fappani would be attend- ing, and be out front. He would walk away with overall scores of ninth, sixth, and fifth; something to truly
be proud of, and bring with him a plethora of confidence. Fappani heads into the summer months look- ing to better himself as he always does, and everyone on the circuit
is excited to see him truly reach his potential in the coming years.
