>> Weston Peick had a brutal crash earlier this year during the Su- percross season, that has had him sidelined for some time. Making
his comeback at round one of the Outdoors, Peick is looking like he never missed a race. Finishing with a 5th overall last weekend, the ball has begun rolling for the JGR Suzuki rider. Riding strong throughout practice early in the day Peick had the 12th fastest time going into the races. Laying the hammer down out of the gate in moto one the JGR Suzuki rider was sitting in 8th around the first turn. Jumping into a battle with Dean Wilson and the points leader, Marvin Musquin, Peick was working hard to hold onto his position. Unable to hold them off he fell back to 11th. Then making a mistake on the tough track conditions he fell back two more spots into 14th. As the race wore on Peick was able to regain two of his positions into 12th place where he finished off the moto. The start of the second moto didn’t go quite as well as the first leaving him around 13th through the first turn. Going back and forth with Martin Davalos for the first few laps of the race, it was shaping
up to be a long race for Weston Peick. Earning his position Peick was working hard to stay consistent each lap as the track conditions kept changing. Maintaining his 13th place spot almost the entire race, he fin- ished of the second moto in the same place he started. Going 11-13 for the day the JGR Suzuki rider finished round three with a 12th overall.
