With the top twenty being extremely close in times, Lamay seemed stagnant before making his way into 16th.
As the first ten minutes of the moto drew to a close, Lamay got around Short for 15th before dropping back to
17th behind Short and Kyle Peters with ten minutes left to go. A few laps later, Peters goes down and drops
out of the race, pushing Ben into 16th where he was able to ride out the remaining laps to finish round five on
a positive note. Tied for his best moto finish of the year and a 19th overall, Lamay appears to be headed in the right direction as the
