Andrew short had a decent run in practice Saturday morning in Tennessee. He struggled to find his speed, but everyone was having troubles, as the track was rutted and rough. When the first moto began, things only got worse for Andrew as he got caught up in the first lap chaos and found himself running near dead
last by the beginning of the second lap. He began to climb his way through the pack and was sitting just outside the top twenty with just a few laps left. Andrew put on a charge and was able to get his KTM into 20th place by the time the checkers flew. Short had a little better start in moto two and was running in 18th place by the beginning of the second lap. He made his way passed two more riders and looked to settle in to the 16th position. Around the midway point, it seemed Andrew was hungry for more. He made a charge and was able to pick up two more positions by the end of the race. Andrew would go 20-14 for 17th overall at his last race in Tennessee.
