Matt Bisceglia is one of many successful amateur phenoms that are searching for the similar results in
the pro ranks. Matt had a clean sweep of Loretta Lynn’s in 2013 and was even given the Horizon Award.
Matt then came straight into the pro scene and landed a factory ride at Geico Honda. Unfortunately, his rookie years didn’t go as planned and he found himself searching for a ride at the beginning of 2016. Everything worked out for the young Texas native as he landed a Suzuki ride in the 250 class and is now filling in for James Stewart aboard the Yoshimura Suzuki. The 450 class can be intimidating at times but Matt is handling the pressure well. Not only is he filling big shoes of James Stewart but he is also trying to prove to his team and others that he is deserving of a factory ride like this. So far, Matt has raced four motos for the Suzuki squad and has finished outside of the top ten only once due to a crash. Matt is showing that he can consistently put in top ten performances and the teams will definitely be noticing. Look for Matt to gain confidence as the year goes on and possibly make a run for some top five finishes.
