NOAH McCONAHY
McConahy has taken the road less traveled to get to his current point on the professional tour. Choosing to compete in the C class for the 2009 season, McConahy’s lack of riding and race experience allowed him to
vie for a national novice title at the all-hailing Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championships. From a fan’s perspective, he may have been the visually fastest C rider at the ranch in quite sometime. It seemed as though every moto, he would be lengthening hefty gaps, or crashing his brains out, only to rally and have a respectable outcome by the time he hit the protest tent. The strategy of class selection paid off however, allowing Noah to feel overlooked and forced to jump into the professional ranks under the radar. The lack of pressure has seemed to reap dividends over the course of the past year or so, as his results have vastly improved and caught notice of many in the industry. With a skinny, lanky frame, the Washington Husky (pardon the pun) Noah resembles more of a stretch forward on the basketball court rather than a professional racer battling for national points. He makes it work, regardless, and aspires to keep the ball of momentum rolling as we head into Muddy Creek.
