As the gate slammed and imprinted the Eastern Tennessee loam, Freddie Noren found himself pleased with a start just outside of the top ten as they crossed the green flag. Eleventh at five minutes in, Noren was attempting to let chaos subside all the while remaining relaxed, in order to save his endurance in the
hotbox they called Muddy Creek. Lurking around the top twelve for the beginning portion of the moto, Noren was reiterating that with adequate resources, he is and will be able to put the bike in a position that’s pleasing to both sponsors and team owners. Working his way into the top ten with ten minutes to go, their appeared to be little friction beneath him and the Muddy Creek soil, pro- pelling him to well within proper radius of factory riders. However, a bobble near the 2-lap mark caused him to fall to 16th and disap- pointing finish for the speed he once had within grasp mid-moto. As the field took stage to begin their 2nd moto performance, Freddie Noren was unaccounted for and didn’t take part for an unbeknownst reason. Hopefully all is well and we see the Honda competitor back in action very soon.
